Today we studied a graphic which is taken from Euromonitor International from national statistics/UN, shows population estimates of different countries in the year 2015. This chart indicate that EU and Turkey age 0-14 population percentage forecast : 2015
Following the economic improvements, the Eu agreed to begin accession talks. However, not everyone is convinced that Turkey will bring positive economic benefits to the EU.
High young population in a society means that it is not a developed country.
This chart is about Female illiteracy rates for selected counties such us European and Middle-East countries.
Morocco has the highest percentage of illiteracy rates (%58)
Poland, Latvia and Estonia has the lowest percentage of illiteracy rates (%0)
In the Middle-East countries, female illeteracy rates are higher than European countries. This rates show us these countries will not develop as much as European Countries. (Ali Can Civan, Alper Tunga Çalışkan, İbrahim Aktan)
The chart shows female employment rate in Europe for 15-64 age range: 2002 Sweden has the highest percentage: 73% Turkey has the lowest percentage: 25% In our opinion, this chart shows us situation of women. According to the chart, Turkey which has lowest percentage is less social developing country than the others. We can infer that Turkey has cultural differences because of religious views. Our chart is about marriage percentages for Turkey 1990-2004. It shows that differences between rate of marriage and average of women at first marriage.
We think the differences between these percentages result in some economic problems. However, when Turkey solve these problems, percentages increase.(gokhan soztutar- can gogebakan)
Our chart indicates real Turkey Economic Indicators between 1984-2004. This chart showes us the effects of GDP (Gross Domestic Product) Growth on Inflation.Also, this chart explains us differences between the changes of each year. To illustrate, the highest GDP Growth is between 1987-1988 and the rate of growth is 10% and the lowest year is between 2000-2001, the rate of growth is -8%. On the other hand, the highest year of inflation is between 1994-1995 and the lowest year of inflation is 2004. (ipek-tuçe-kemal)
