Do you think the change in Islamic societies from more involvement of women to less involvement and being more patriarchal is good or bad? Why? Please explain your reasons.
Role of women has been chancing in the world of Islam. In turkey, it has also changed. In the past women were more active than now because a huge number of men did not want any women in Islam society. I think it is not fair, because one of Islam’s rule is everybody is equal, so women should have a role in Islamic society. In addition, some of women try to do something for Islam world, but when they do that, there can be some problems. For example: Zeynep FADILLIOGLU, who is an architect, has designed a mosque in uskudar. And she took very horrific comment. A huge number of Islamic think that she is sinner because of the mosque ,because in these people world, women has not any role in the islam society, so women cannot do any ting for Islam world. (can gogebakan) I think the change in Islamic societies from more involvement of women to less involvement and being more patriarchal is bad for us, because women’s role in society under control men. Therefore, women can not succeed in business life, education or marriage. Since, they fall behind male and they can feel hopeless for the future. In islamic society ,especially in Turkey, women are so passive and we can observe the effects of less involvement of women in society and it influences our economic development and the way we try to measure up to modern world. As a Islamic notions, women’s role is not in business life is at home unfortunately. When they get married in young age, they should look after their children and their family. Maybe it means protection of women but the problem is that the usage of religion in a bad way and religion is exploited for their needs.( ipek kırmızıdere)

Famida Mirza, is cited as a case in point these days. She lives in Pakistan that is called moderate Islam’s country in many societies. She managed to have part in Pakistan’s assembly. This situation made tremendous impacts on many societies. In addition, Islam is used many people on bad way. For example, if man doesn’t want his wife to work, he asserts Islam and women’s rights in Islam. Thus, in Islam, if women don’t want to work or look after their families, they don’t have to do this. Nowadays, majorty of women can’t join the social events, can’t apply for a job because of their husband’s or their father’s since many father’s or husband’s think that women shouldn’t be open-minded shouldn’t be social they should look after their children or clean the house. Therefore, many mans see them as a worker for their daily needs but it comes from before that means comes from our society roles but it’s changing in that time many women enter the university and graduate from different university also they apply for many jobs.(KEMAL DEDEOGLU)
One of contemporary topics is more involvement of women in Islamic societies. In the past, men were more dominant than women. However, I think that this situation has been changing positively by the participation of women in every part of life. Actually, men and women are equal during the time of Prophet Mohammed. Today, people discuss about praying in same section in Mosques. In hajj Muslims pray all together around of Kabe. However, in mosques women want to feel relax and special. This does not mean that men and women are not equivalent. In short I am optimistic about this subject. Nowadays, women ,that are in Islam society, do not have a considerable role because of contemporary rights. Islamic roles created in the time of Prophet Mohammed, some people ,that are extremely interested in islam, belive that these rules has never changed. However , we can see the result of redeployment because there are several differences between now and past the role of women.
